About

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has been serving the Toowoomba community for
over 60 years. We gather in worship each Sunday at 9am. You are welcome to join
us as we come together to receive God’s grace and be strengthened and blessed in
our faith.

Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd. He laid down his life for us on the cross. We
are his followers, and each one of us is a loved and cherished part of God’s creation.
The Bible tells us that he knows us by name! God’s love for you and for me led him
to die on a cross and rise to life so that we can be filled with a true and lasting hope.
Jesus knows us, warts and all. He knows our joys and sorrows, our hurts and
hopes, our struggles and deepest fears and worries. Each week he invites us into
his presence through the gift of worship so that he can come to forgive and feed us,
reassure us of his love, grace, and mercy and remind us that as the Good Shepherd
he will walk with us and remain by our side through the darkest of times and through
the happiest of moments (Psalm 23).
