We look forward to welcoming you as we gather!
Welcome from the Pastor
Life can be hard work. It can be filled with many highs and some extreme lows. As we ride the rollercoaster of life, the Bible reminds us that Jesus is with us always (Matthew 28:19-20). When we experience the wonderful moments, Christ is with us. When we walk through deep waters or face the storms of life’s events, Jesus reminds us that no one or nothing can snatch us out of his hand (Isaiah 43:1-3 & John 10:28-29). He will stay the course – He will continue to be our Imanuel (God with us).
As I came to know that Jesus, as the Good Shepherd, laid down his life for me, I came to be filled with a true and lasting hope not only for this life, but also for the life to come.
I don’t know what’s happening in your world. No doubt, like most of us, you are experiencing the highs and lows of life. Maybe you’re carrying guilt, feeling hurt, lost for direction, struggling in your faith, or feel abandoned and forgotten by God. No matter where you’re at, God invites you to come and be blessed by him through the gift of worship.
You are precious and honoured in the sight of God. He laid down his life for you on the cross. That’s how much you are worth to him.
If you have never been to worship before, or if it’s been a few years since you’ve set foot in a Church, you are invited to come and gather with us at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
God’s blessings.
Pastor Mark.
